So we went back to Popotla Fishing village today at 4 pm to eat some fish. What a surprise! Instead of the quiet beach that just had fishermen bringing in their catch, the beach was filled with cars and locals tailgating at the ocean’s edge. There were lots of families eating, listening to music and playing in the water. After looking at the fishermen who still had fish cleaning and weighing their catch, we went up to one of the restaurants for dinner. David had some fish ( he did not know what kind) and I had lobster and shrimp. What a feast and all for $40 ( including the 2 boxes we took home for tomorrow’s lunch).
